I decided to take the internship at Boston Scientific this summer in Valencia, CA (close to LA). The project is interesting, the supervisor seems very nice and organized, and I’m getting paid more than I ever would’ve expected. I’m close enough to San Jose that I could go home on weekends if needed, and my mom’s already talked about shipping the brother down for visits on occasion. On top of that, Erin will be around LA for the latter part of the summer.
I’m really looking forward to the warm weather and beaches! Yesterday was decent outside, a little overcast, nice enough for a run. I’m in the process of looking for something to train for. Even if I don’t find a road race or triathlon, I’d like to follow a training schedule to give me a goal during workouts.
Bio test and milestone for 2.007 due tomorrow, on top of work for the media lab urop, a little guitar in there, and maybe a swim.
